About the Linux+ XKO-005 exam

- Historically, the CompTIA Linux Plus exam has been the industry standard in accredited entry level distribution agnostic Linux certification. It is aimed at users with 12 months of work experience or possessing CompTIA's A+, Network+, Server+, or similar certification. The new XKO-005 exam is an independent certification offered by CompTIA which validates skills of IT professionals. This certification is not product-based and covers tools and technologies from many different distributions including Red Hat, Debian, and Suse. The new XKO-005 exam has increased focused on system management, security, scripting, containers and automation, and troubleshooting. The exam comprises of 90 questions and you have 90 minutes to complete them. A passing score is 720 out of 900, which is 80%. The exam costs 358 US dollars in the United States, but can be as low as $200 in emerging markets, so check the CompTIA website for pricing…
