- I've spent over 10 years in the world of magic as a professional magician. And the one thing that separates great magicians from the average magicians is self-awareness. Magicians who have more self-awareness, they perform better magic. And there's a number of ways in which magicians can develop their self-awareness. But one practical method is by using a three-way mirror. So magicians have a three-way mirror that they'll sit in front of and they'll practice their magic. And the reason they use this three-way mirror is so that they can learn to see what their audience members see all around them. This is how we build and develop that self-awareness as magicians. This awareness for magicians is so critical. It's literally the difference between being able to do a trick that anybody can do versus a magical and astonishing moment.
