- [Dave] The proper operations of a cloud storage system have many components, also is related to the planning that goes into what makes up storage operations specifically for your specific business needs. While there are many things to consider, the core storage operations planning concept that you should consider includes observability, performance, backup and recovery, security operations, and cost management. Observability as related to storage operations refers to the understanding of basic monitoring data that is gathered from the storage systems.
