- [Instructor] This section of the course will focus on higher-level cloud storage services which use lower level services for basic functions of storage. Simply put, this means that there are many cloud services that store data and other information for you. Using the underlying storage services are often called primitive services. This makes it easier to deal with native cloud storage types and services, such as object storage, block storage, file storage since the complexities of those services are hidden from you. You can think of cloud storage types as being primitive to higher-level storage management services, such as databases, backup and recovery services, and other systems that must store information as part of their core functionality.
