Microsoft Intune offers a unified endpoint management system that allows admins to secure, deploy, and manage users, apps, and devices. In this course, experienced networking consultant Robert McMillen explains how Intune can be used to manage endpoint security, device management, and cloud actions. Robert begins with an overview of products and how to identify which products are best for specific environments. Next, he explains how to prepare for, install, and use Configuration Manager. Robert goes over using Intune for managing mobile devices and links between an on-premises PC to Microsoft Entra ID. He covers assigning licenses and Group Policy, as well as Windows update policies. Robert demonstrates how to use the Intune Admin Center and Microsoft Entra ID. Plus, he introduces several Intune Suite products and highlights how to simplify and improve your Intune workflows with Windows Autopilot and Desktop Analytics.

    This is a good course providing a solid overview of the intune platform and related configurations in the M365 Admin Center. However the System is a distraction and waste of time for those interested in Intune as a cloud mgmt platform. It will be better for it to be removed or made optional preferably at the end of the course since setting configuration takes a hugh toll on beginners.

    Overall this has been a good refresher for me, especially the SCCM and Co-Management stuff been a while since i had to set that up, definitely recommended for beginners to sit this through. My one gripe was chapter 3 where Admin users were used as well as manual downloads, signs-ins were done to join into intune. Later on it is mentioned that it can be done from SCCM/Intune and that it's omitted for Speed. To clarify: this type of setup should only be done for testing where you are building out the deployment before pushing it to the wider user base. Ideally Company Portal install, Azure AD join (Hybrid) and any GPO edits to be done, should be server side rather than on the laptop itself. I would also recommend for anyone looking into the autopilot script to looking in to it's "Online" features, this simplifies things a lot and if online it also removes the requirement of having the file on had (still should have as fall-back)
