Extended named ACL configuration
- [Instructor] In this video, let's take a look at how to configure another extended access list. But instead of using a numbered approach, we want to use a named approach. And a big advantage of using a named ACL is that we can use intuitive naming instead of just saying that we have an access list numbered 150. We could have a descriptive name so we know it's perhaps to prevent certain ports from getting to a particular server. And these named ACLs, they're not limited to extended ACLs. We could have a standard named ACL as well. And something else we'll demonstrate in this video is how we can go in and edit an existing ACL. Keeping in mind that the order of the rules, the access control entries is critical. Maybe I want to insert a new access control entry between a couple of existing access control entries.
