(tranquil music) - [Instructor] In this video we're going to go out to some live gear and demonstrate using Link Layer Discovery Protocol. We're going to begin very simply by saying, how do we determine our Layer 2-adjacent neighbors that are speaking LLDP, and that will give us summary information about those Layer 2-adjacent devices? And we're going to see how to zoom in and get more detailed information about those adjacent devices. Then we'll take a look at how we can disable LLDP on an interface and we can disable just receiving LLDP messages. We can disable the transmission of messages if I don't want to send my information out to a service provider. And we'll even take a look at how we can surgically prune out specific information from being advertised. And we'll also take a look at how we can disable and enable LLDP globally.
