- [Narrator] Let's take a first look at the Burp Suite tool and get familiar with what it offers. We won't go into too much detail here, as we'll be covering a lot of the tools' functions as we go through the course. The Burp Suite Community Edition comes as one of the tools pre-built into Kali, and we can find it in the Reconnaissance menu. In Kali's top ribbon, I've set up some favorite applications for quick access. One of these is Burp Suite Professional, which I've installed. For now, let's select Applications, Reconnaissance, and the Community Burp Suite from the top of the list. When Burp Suite starts, it asks what kind of project we want, and we'll accept the default temporary project. And we'll start Burp Suite using its default settings. The Community Edition only allows temporary projects, and we need to use the Professional version if we want to store projects on disk, which is usually required when doing a…
