- Before taking this course, it will be beneficial to have a basic understanding of Java, or a similar programming language, and build tools such as Maven. You should be familiar with message brokers, event streaming solutions, and database concepts, in particular, relational databases. You should also have a general application development experience in order to follow along with this course. I've provided the source code for the live demonstrations on GitHub, and a link has been provided.
