- [Instructor] A WordPress theme is the backbone of your website's page and post structure and design. Every site needs a theme, and yours upon installation will probably utilize a default theme 2022, 2021, 2023, or another one, but you can always swap these out for more. You can find WordPress themes in a few different places. Independent developers design and distribute themes all the time. They may use their own website to sell or distribute their themes. Many of these creators rely on theme development and support as a large part of their income, so you can be somewhat certain that they won't just abandon support for that plugin anytime soon. You can search the WordPress directory for themes, and this is my personal favorite method. So from your site's dashboard, go to Appearance, then Themes, and then go To add New.
