Let's go to the OpenAI website, and on their home page, OpenAI describes itself as an AI research and deployment company with the mission that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. Okay, so what does that mean? For one thing, OpenAI's a company, a research and deployment company. This means that OpenAI does a lot of research and makes the results available to others deployable. That sounds very good to me. Because has it not always been difficult to make the result of research available to everyone in a way that is applicable? And when OpenAI addresses this in order to provide AI for the benefits of humanity, it sounds very good to my ears.
