AWS Certified Developer Associate DVA-C02 Exam domains

- [Instructor] The AWS Certified Developer Associate Exam has four different domains, each is responding with a topic coverage. The Exam Domains are as follows: Domain one is development with AWS services. Domain two is security. The domain three is deployment, and lastly, domain four is troubleshooting and optimization. The list of exam domains can be found on the official exam guide for the AWS Certified Developer Associate Exam. Each exam domain is comprise of several task statements. A task statement is a subcategory of the exam domain that contains the required code concepts, knowledge, and skills for you to accomplish a particular task or activity in AWS. Let's look at each of these domains one by one. The first domain covers the big chunk of the exam at 32%, followed by the second domain, which covers 26%. The third is 24%, while the last one covers 18% of the exam. The development with AWS services exam domain falls on checking our knowledge in developing applications in AWS. It is the biggest domain in the exam with 32% coverage, so make sure to spend a lot of time studying the various development concepts that are covered under this domain. The series of scenarios that we encountered in this section checks our know-how in developing code for applications hosted on AWS, developing code for AWS Lambda, as well as using data stores in application development. The second exam domain is all about security in AWS. It is the second biggest domain in the exam with 26% coverage, so you must allocate a lot of time to understand the different concepts covered in this domain. The questions that we'll encounter in this section will challenge your knowledge in the following, implementing authentication and or authorization for applications in AWS Services, implementing encryption by using AWS services and managing sensitive data in application code. The third domain is about the vast deployment options in AWS, this has an exam coverage of 24% and revolves around the task of repairing the artifacts of your application, deployment automation, integration testing, as well as continuous integration and continuous delivery, or CI/CD for short.
