- [Instructor] Quite often, you will need to supplement your survey data with COGO points. Let's see how that's done. So I'm in my drawing, and you may notice some new line work that's been added when comparing this drawing to the last one that we were in. We now have a property boundary drawn around the outside of our site, maybe that was done by reconstructing a description from a deed, and we also have some center lines that have been drawn showing where we think our roads are going to be for the proposed design. And what we want to do is find out which corners have been found in the field, which corners need to be found, and then where are the test borings going to be located for this project along the center line of the roads? So the first thing we'll do is bring in some data from the field crew that shows us the corners that they found in the field. They've gone out to the site, they've walked along where they think the property line is, and they've found some iron pins or other…
