- [Instructor] Just as you saw with alignments, profiles can be edited with the same tools that you create them with. The profile layout tools. Let's see how it works. To get started, I'll click on my blue profile. I'm going to zoom in nice and close so I don't accidentally click the red one. I want the blue one. That's our design profile. With that profile selected, I'll then click geometry editor on the ribbon and there we see the profile layout tools toolbar. Yes, this is the same one we used to create the profile in the first place using this draw tangents with curves command. But as you can see, there are quite a bit more other commands we can use to modify the profile. The first tool I'd like to use is back here on point A and I want to add a PVI right at this location in the road so that we can more closely match the cross slope of the existing road.
