- [Narrator] Pipe network designs are a combination of spatial and numerical information. In this video, we'll see how to use properties to handle the numerical parts. So as you might recall, we have a little bit of a problem with this part of our sanitary network. We've got a manhole that's way down here at Elevation Zero and a pipe joining it at that elevation. And if we look at it in profile view, we can get another view of what's going on. We've got a manhole that starts down here at zero and extends the whole way up to like 180. So this is an 180 foot tall manhole. So how can we leverage properties to fix up some of these issues? Well, the first thing I'll do is I'll go to the center of the cul-de-sac and click on the manhole structure and then we'll go to structure properties. Currently the rim elevation of the manhole is set at zero because the surface doesn't quite extend to that location. So what I'll do is I'll turn off automatic surface adjustment and set that to false. And…
