- [Instructor] In the last video, we saw how to automate the line work as our survey data was imported. What if we could do that with symbols like trees or manholes or power poles? Let's see how that's done using description keys. I've got my file open and I'm going to go to the Settings tab, expand the Point node, and then Description Key Sets. And there we see the Essentials Description Key Set. I'll right click on that and pick Edit Keys. And what we see is a list of description keys. And what they do is when a point comes into the drawing and the description matches one of these codes in the code column, certain instructions will be executed on that point. So for example, if I scroll to the top, when a building point is located, that's what this BLD code stands for. When a building point is located and that point comes into the drawing, the description key will dictate what style the point is, what label style is associated with that point, what kind of text do we see and what…
