- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick. In this particular tip and trick, I'm going to show you how to set up more than one model tab viewport. Now, you wouldn't normally do that in a 2D floor plan, for example. You'd normally use multiple model tab viewports when you're working in 3D and 3D modeling. So in this particular drawing, we have a simple 3D solid so that I can show you how these multiple model tab viewports are set up. Download the drawing as usual, which is 402 Model Viewports.dwg. When you download it and open up the file, you will find in the Model tab that you have a simple 3D solid there with a hole in the middle of it. There it is there on the layer 3D solid. And you can see that we are in the southeast isometric view up here in the View Controls.
