- [Instructor] When we create a new project, we can use a couple of different methods depending on what type of project we want to create. Besides creating a brand new out of the box, we can also create a new project based on an existing customized template. Let's take a look at this option and set up a project based on an existing template. So let's take a look at our exercise files. We're going to go to Open, Desktop, Exercise Files. Then right at the bottom you'll see we have a P&ID template. I want you to go ahead and open that Project.xml and let's take a look at what's inside. So typically this would be a client base. So if you're working for one particular energy company, you would set a template file up with all their customized content and then you only have to do it once. You would use all your projects going forward based on this template and it saves you having to do all that customization again. So let's take a look at what we have in this existing project.
