- [Instructor] Drafting settings in AutoCAD Mechanical don't differ that much from your regular AutoCAD. They're located in the same place: the bottom right corner of the screen. So there's where your drafting settings in your status bar. So you can click on the fly out menus, for example, there's your polar tracking there. Click on the little fly arrow again, closes it again. Same with object snaps, like so, and then click on the arrow again. Now you will find there's a few icons down on the drafting settings that you wouldn't normally get in regular AutoCAD. They're over here. So you got mechanical structure on, you've also got structure selection order as well. Coming over this way, selection lock and also reference lock. These are tools that are available to you in AutoCAD Mechanical only. If you right click over any of them, you may find that you get settings, but you'll find that normally, that's not the case.
