- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in our AutoCAD Mechanical Course. And we're now going to be looking at Bills of Materials, Parts Lists, Balloons, and annotating our drawings accordingly, so that people know which parts go where in an assembly in a mechanical drawing. So the first thing we're going to look at is Part References. Applying references to specific parts in our drawings. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called part_references.dwg. You can download that from the library as usual to follow along with the video. And we're going to zoom in on the right-hand view here first of all. Now, just before we do that though, zoom in on the parts list down here. And you'll see the parts here like so. I'm just going to zoom and pan a little so that you can see that they're there. There's the Parts List added. And you can see that we're up to Item Number Three, which is the UV filter. We're going to add a new part, edit that part, and then add some Balloons as well…
