Working with palettes and dialog boxes

Once again we're staying in our interface.dwg file and we're going to be taking a look at how palettes and dialog boxes work in AutoCAD. Both of them are methods of setting things up in your AutoCAD and in your AutoCAD drawings but they work slightly differently. What I'm going to do is go to the view tab on the ribbon and you'll notice we've got a palette panel and what this allows you do is open up some of the various palettes that are available to you in AutoCAD. So we've got things like tool palettes, properties, blocks, counting blocks, command macros, sheet set manager and so on. One of the best palettes is your layer manager. Now you'll find if we look here is your layer manager in here. We've got a markup set manager, we've got a layer properties maybe that's what it is, and there's our layers right there.
