We're starting a new chapter now and we're going to take a look at a couple of drawing management tools that are available in AutoCAD. The first one we're going to look at is the DWG compare command and it's great for comparing different versions of the same drawing. Now you'll notice in the drawing area we've got simpleobjects001.dwg I've also got another drawing open SimpleObjects002.dwg you'll notice SimpleObjects002 we're missing the hexagon SimpleObjects001 has got the little hexagon in it so the two drawings follow the same theme but they differ they're missing the little pink hexagon on the right hand side in SimpleObjects002 now if I just jump up to the collaborate tab on the ribbon there's the DWG Compare command there so what we need to do is we need to compare one drawing against the other so at the moment our current file is Simple Objects 001 I need to go to DWG Compare and I need to tell AutoCAD that I want to compare this to Simple Objects 002, the one without the…
