- [Instructor] I want to add more definition and depth to the layer we've animated previously, the M layer. And this is so it will stand out more clearly above the background color. And to achieve that, I'm going to apply two effects and then modify their properties. So I'll click on the Effect & Presets here, highlight the index search, and start to type in the word Bevel space A, which is going to isolate under the Perspective category the Bevel Alpha effect. Since the layer is already selected in the timeline, I can double-click on the effect, which is going to apply to the layer itself. Now, since I'm here, I'm also going to add the second effect that I'm after, which is the Drop Shadow. So again, start to type this, double-click to apply the effect, and let's modify the settings.
