Configuring the screen lock
- [Instructor] One of the best things you can do to protect your Android, its contents, and your digital life is to apply a secure screen lock. This lock is beyond the simple swipe required to unlock the device. Common screen locks available on Android devices include none, no screen lock, obviously not a secure choice, swipe, which is also not secure, pattern, PIN, and password. Your Android may have other secure screen locks available including biometric options such as a fingerprint reader or facial recognition. The PIN or password screen lock may be required for additional security. For example, if you have a corporate exchange server account, you must use a PIN or password, even if it's a backup to a biometric lock like a fingerprint or facial recognition.
