We live in a time where there are multiple generations converging on the workforce. Any time your organization may be populated by Boomers, Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z, no matter where you are leading, you need to be able to do so despite the generational differences. Recognizing that everyone needs at various stages in their life are not the same. In this lesson, I'll walk you through strategies for managing a multigenerational workforce in a hybrid environment that will help to foster belonging and improve collaboration. First, understand that it is important to demonstrate respect for the worth of individuals in all communications and actions, despite any generational differences. Employees will feel appreciated and valued, leading to a trickle down effect among coworkers. Next, you need to carefully balance the company's needs with the desires of your employees.
