- [Instructor] We're just about ready to take Copilot for test flight. And in order to do that we're going to start by signing up for Copilot and installing it on our IDE. Then we're going to sign in to GitHub using our IDE. Then we're going to pick a programming language in order to allow Copilot to make the right assumption about the code we're writing. And then we'll get creative and hopefully challenge this tool and see what it can do for us. So let's head over to github.com/github-copilot, and and then sign up. And then you'll see that there's perhaps a free trial you can take advantage of. But generally, you'll pay about $10 a month at the time of this recording for a monthly plan, or $100 a year. Now, keep in mind, if you are a student, you can probably get access to Copilot for free. If you're a maintainer of an open-source project, you can probably get Copilot for free as well.
