Types of AI in connected products
- [Instructor] AI can be categorized by the data used to train it. If the AI is trained by numbers and spreadsheets, in simple terms, it is called machine learning. One example of data that trains machine learning can be your customer data. These are numbers or texts which carry information about your customer behavior, such as their demographics or behavioral information. A machine learning AI can learn from this customer data to find patterns about customers' buying behavior to make predictions on the best day of the week to approach the customer. It can make predictions about which products the customer is likely to buy next. Another example of numbers is weather patterns. These are also numbers, but they carry information about when it rained or snowed.
