So where's the payoff? When do companies get to show off all their hard work? Well, that happens at the audit phase. When you look up definitions of the word audit, many are related to finance. Essentially, an audit is a formal examination of accounts. It was initially a process for uncovering fraud in a company or an account. Over the years, the definition has expanded to industries outside of finance, specifically safety engineering. While the industries that employ audits have expanded, the audit itself is still largely used as a tool for uncovering fraud. So how are AI audits different from traditional audits?
