Identifying objects in video

What if we could take text-based video further by having a transcript that not only understood what each subject said, but was able to identify their clothes, time of day, colors, and even photobombers? Video object detection, or what is often referred to as object recognition, mimics the human visual cortex. It allows machines to analyze video frame by frame and identify the objects present within them. Thus, object detection in video works similarly to AI image recognition. The tool aims to locate and identify objects seen on input moving images. Adobe recently had a beta called Project Blink that allowed you to upload a video to a cloud service. It would analyze the video and audio, providing you a transcript, little thumbnails with speakers in the video, and a way to search for visual content it saw. If you did a search for something, say, red shirt, it would show you anywhere where red shirt was said in addition to frames that recognized a red shirt in the shot. Another example…
