After you clean up audio such as background noise or hum, the next step is to enhance it. AI technology has gotten so good that there are now tools that combine these two into one step. Let's take a look at Adobe Podcast. I've included a piece of audio in the exercise files while I recorded myself far away from the computer mic. Let's take a listen. This is a voiceover recording. My mouth is not really close to the iPhone microphone and I'm just right by a highway. I just wanted to test this out to see how I could actually clean up this audio. When going to Adobe Podcast, choose Enhanced Speech. Just note, you'll need to have a free Adobe account set up for this to work. Click the Import button and select a WAV or MP3 file. Adobe Podcast will get to work analyzing the audio. Once finished, you can play back the result.
