- [Instructor] Move over SEO. There's a new way for customers to find out about your brand. GEO, or generative engine optimization, is all about getting your company mentioned in an AI summary. So let's discover what GEO is all about. But before we go any further, I just want to mention some of the other names people might use for GEO. Could be called AEO, or answer engine optimization, or LLMO, large language model optimization. But regardless of the terms you hear, it basically refers to the same thing. Why is GEO so important? Well, these days, more and more people are using chatbots like a search engine. They're looking for information, ideas to help plan vacations or shop, or simply to get answers to their questions. So having your brand included in an AI response is key. In many ways. GEO is a lot like SEO.
