- [Instructor] One of the things I love to do when I'm not writing code is to make music. I'm an amateur musician. I love playing instruments like the guitar and ukulele. When I first started playing these instruments, it literally hurt. My fingers weren't strong enough, and they got really tired very quickly. And the skin on my fingertips wasn't strong enough. I was always getting blisters on my fingertips. But whenever I practiced, it felt good. I enjoyed it, and my skills improved. I was becoming a better guitarist. So I started playing more and more. Now I play every day, usually a lot, quite a few times a day. And I even travel with a ukulele or a small guitar to make sure I can play every day, no matter where I am. The stuff that hurt got easier the more I did it. The more I played, the more my skills amplified and improved. Playing guitar and ukulele as much as possible makes me a better musician.
