- Hi there, Eran Stern here, and this time I want to show you an irritating issue that happens when you import a multilayered document from Photoshop, which is using gradient maps. Not only show you the problem, but also offer a solution of course. So I have here a document, I've named it Blue Jellyfish. I'll double click it because this is now a merge version of the Photoshop layers. And to see it inside Photoshop I can return to the project panel and then go to the edit menu and choose edit original. Now notice that we have couple of layers as well as a gradient map layer. This is the contribution of the gradient map layer to the image. So basically I've chosen one of the built in gradient maps and I've set the blending mode to multiply. Let's bring back after effects to the front. And now right click on the footage inside the project panel and choose replace footage with layered comp. And this is going to bring…
