- [Instructor] Do you recognize this page? This was the place where we created our very first vector graphics, using Adobe Firefly, and we had to pick between a subject and a scene. Now, let me show you how you can do this directly from within Adobe Illustrator. Let's go to Illustrator. Here, I have scene start open, and let's imagine for a second, this is the inlay for a book. And I have to come up with a beautiful illustration for this children's book. Now, there are a few ways to get started with creating vector graphics, but I always recommend that you simply take the rectangle tool and you draw out a shape that is going to hold your vector illustration. Now, you can go ahead and just start creating from scratch if you want to, but that means that Illustrator's going to decide what the size of your created vector artwork is going to be.
