We've seen how supports work in Cura, and even how Cura allows you to customize them by adding and subtracting areas of support. PrusaSlicer provides similar options, but has an even more powerful tool called paint on supports. To use PrusaSlicer's paint on supports feature, you first need to tell it that you want to generate supports. You can choose to enable supports for the whole model, enable supports built up from the platform, but not on top of other parts of the print, or only generate the supports you specify. For the purposes of this video, we'll concentrate on this option. Once the support and forces only option is selected, we can choose a model that we want to add supports to and click on the paintbrush icon on the left. If you don't see it, make sure that you have advanced or expert mode selected in the top right corner of the window.
