We have an integrated and scalable range of services which help our clients achieve their goals on projects of varying scope, budget, schedule, and complexity.Job Description: As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, managing budgets, project scheduling, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in both interior and ground-up construction is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervises assigned project work and liaises between field engineering, estimating, and workforce to ensure project compliance with contract drawings and specifications
Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports and updates monthly schedule from project feedback
Reviews and understands the project specifications to support job set up activities. Works with work crews, field engineers and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on job site. Working with multiple job sites and multiple project plans, when necessary
Forecasts the work schedule to identify possible issues and provides technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues
Provides technical input to identify and resolve project risks including construction methods, work plan and material requirements, safety and schedule activities
Plan, direct, coordinate, or budget, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems
Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation
Periodically attend workshops, pre-bid meetings, and trade meetings, seminars germane to the construction industry to maintain knowledge of the industry and learn the community of Owners, Primes, Architects, Engineers, Consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
Ability to work effectively with and lead a team
Degree in field or equivalent practical experience
7-10 years of relevant construction management experience
OSHA 30 Hour
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
Proven ability to follow through with completion
Skills & Competencies:
MS Office Suite
Procore, Prolog, Asana, Fieldwire, or equivalent construction management software
Working knowledge of Estimating and Scheduling
