Staff Accountant

Established manufacturer and distributor seeking Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

• AP/AR
• Cash receipts
• General Ledger
• Cash forecasting
• Check runs
• Fixed Assets
• Month and year end process
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Improve systems and procedures
• Create and maintain spreadsheets (advanced computer skills on MS Office (Pivot Tables, VLookUp) and Power BI is a must)
• Analyzing data from Microsoft Business Central
• Arranging foreign currency payments and processing in system
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives

Selected candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with at least 2 years of experience. Position is ON SITE.
