Software Test Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing

•Executing software and firmware test plans for drone systems, ground stations, and test rigs

•Digging into post-mission logs to uncover performance issues and root causes

•Updating test documentation and supporting version control processes

•Collaborating with software and systems engineers to identify, isolate, and resolve issues

•Participating in flight and lab testing to ensure software meets mission requirements

Why You’ll Be Successful

•Hold a degree in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline

•Bring hands-on experience testing embedded software in real-world or hardware-in-the-loop environments

•Possess a strong understanding of version control workflows (GIT), test documentation, and post-deployment support

•Capable of analyzing system logs and telemetry data to uncover bugs, performance issues, and system failures

•Able to apply structured problem-solving methods in a fast-paced, iterative development cycle

•Familiarity with autonomous systems, PID control loops, ROS, or unmanned vehicle testing is a strong advantage

Position is onsite in Sanford, FL, with an amazing team and a laid-back environment.

Must be fully authorized to work in the United States and be qualified to hold a DoD clearance.
