Position Overview

The Software Developer II is a mid-level technical position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both modern and legacy web applications. This role requires strong proficiency within the Microsoft development ecosystem and the ability to work independently on moderately complex projects. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support junior developers, and contribute to architectural discussions, coding standards, and best practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance ASP.NET (Web Forms, MVC) and Blazor applications.
• Implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.
• Refactor and modernize legacy code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers throughout the SDLC.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions; contribute to coding standards and best practices.
• Work independently on moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Support CI/CD processes and effectively utilize version control tools.

Qualification Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience using Microsoft technologies.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms & MVC), Blazor, and .NET Core.
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or MSTest.
• Experience in Agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira (preferred).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
