Considerations before opting out of TeamLink
Consider the following items before opting out of TeamLink.
- Once you have opted out of TeamLink, you won’t appear in the TeamLink network even if you are part of a TeamLink-enabled contract or TeamLink group.
- Opting out of TeamLink means that your connections won’t be used for warm introductions in your team's TeamLink network.
- Opting out of TeamLink doesn’t impact other Sales Navigator features or the ability to connect with leads or accounts individually.
How your privacy settings influence TeamLink
If your LinkedIn profile is set to private, this will impact your profile’s visibility in the Sales Navigator's TeamLink feature. Here's how privacy settings influence TeamLink:
- If your LinkedIn profile is set to private or certain visibility settings are restricted, for example, connection visibility or browsing in private or semi-private modes, your contributions to the TeamLink network might not be visible. This could mean that your teammates won't see you as a potential connection for leads in the TeamLink network, as TeamLink respects the privacy settings in your profile settings.
- Your Connections Visibility settings on LinkedIn can also affect who can view your network. For example, if this setting limits visibility to only 1st-degree connections, it might restrict the extent to which TeamLink can leverage your network.
