What is Business Development Mode in AI-Assisted Messages?

Business Development mode in RPS+ is a specialized setting that customizes your Recruiter InMail outreach experience for generating leads and building partnerships. When activated, the platform adjusts to reflect this outreach intent, and AI support is tailored to help you connect with prospective candidates and partners. These messages generated by AI highlight your intent to build relationships and drive business opportunities, not to fill job openings.

Important to know

Business Development mode
in AI-Assisted Messages can only be used to send 1:1 messages, and is not supported in sending bulk messages.

Benefits of Business Development mode for AI-assisted Messaging

  • Saves time drafting personalized outreach.
  • Improves message relevance and engagement.
  • Scales Business Development efforts without sacrificing quality.

What is a Unique Selling Point?

A Unique Selling Point is a templated AI prompt that provides necessary background information, helping the AI generate messages aligned with business development outreach.

Every time you want to message a prospective client using Business Development mode for AI-Assisted Messaging, you will need to select a Unique Selling Point. You can create a new Unique Selling Point or use an existing one that you created previously.

A Unique Selling Point collects three pieces of information:

  • Describe the service you are offering: This section is auto-filled with the “About” section on your staffing company’s LinkedIn Company Page. In this section, you can add additional details about what makes your company and its services special and unique–highlighting key information about what makes it stand out against the competition.
  • Showcase candidates (optional): This optional section allows you to populate a shortlist of sample candidates that could be a good fit for a role that the prospective client is currently hiring for. Names of sample candidates will be anonymized when drafting the message.
  • Add a name: Name your Unique Selling Point. Because you can use an existing Unique Selling Point to draft separate messages, you can assign a name that captures hiring intent for a particular type of role, for example: “Nursing Placements.”

Users can save up to 10 Unique Selling Points per license. Unique Selling Points cannot be shared with other users on the contract, and it is exclusively used by the license holder. You can access all of your existing Unique Selling Points in the dropdown in the Draft Settings panel on the right side of the message, and re-generate the message using a different Unique Selling Point.
