LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC) enables Recruiter users to search and source candidates from their Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or LinkedIn Recruiter. With Unified Search, users on an RSC enabled contract can initiate a search from within their ATS system that renders a list of relevant results from both within their ATS and the LinkedIn Network, as well as any resumes passed into the ATS via the RSC integration. All results are displayed via the LinkedIn Unified Search Widget (similar to RSC's Profile Widget).
The Unified Search Widget feature access (Full Company or Default) is determined by Recruiter settings.
The Unified Search Widget supports the following parameter searches:
- Keyword: Specific keyword(s) search including first name, last name, industry, and Boolean operators
- Location: A candidate’s current location per their LinkedIn Profile. It doesn't include a candidate’s interested locations
- Job Title: A candidate’s current or previous job title
- Open to Work: Whether or not a candidate is Open to Work
Customers must sync resumes to use Unified Search.
- Resumes synced to LinkedIn unlock better capabilities for applicant identification and ranking. Without resume data, only limited fields are available to generate search results for in-ATS candidates.
- This data is not shared with other organizations. You remain the controller of synced data and you can delete resumes and other data at any time. Learn more about RSC data security.
The Unified Search results include:
- Candidates who have been matched to a LinkedIn Profile and already exist in the ATS
- LinkedIn members who do not match any existing profiles in the ATS
- Candidates who have been found in the ATS or resume search but aren't matched to an existing LinkedIn profile
You can initiate the following actions from the Unified Search Widget:
- 1-Click Export a candidates' Profile information into the ATS
- Send an InMail to candidates with a prompt to share their contact information
