Edit your ad creatives

Once you’ve created and saved ad creatives to a ad set in Campaign Manager, there are options to edit the details of the ad, such as the headline, copy, image, or landing page URL.

Note: The ability to edit ad creatives varies by ad format. Sponsored Content creatives can't be edited after your ad set has completed.

Changes to Sponsored Messaging

Depending on the Sponsored Content ad format selected and how your ad was created, you may be able to make edits to the ad. Sponsored Content ads include the following ad formats:

Direct Sponsored Content ads are Sponsored Content ad formats created directly in Campaign Manager. You can edit Direct Sponsored Content ads by editing your ad sets.

You'll need ad account and LinkedIn Page permissions to edit Direct Sponsored Content.

To edit a Direct Sponsored Content ad for a Classic ad set:
1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.
2. Click Advertise on the left menu.
3. Select the correct campaign and ad set name where the ad is saved.

You can edit a message ad or conversation ad for your LinkedIn ad set.

To edit a message or conversation ad creative:
1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.
2. Click Advertise on the left menu.
3. On the Campaigns and Ad sets tabs, select the required campaign and ad set.
4. Move your cursor over the ad name and click Edit.

After you’ve created a Classic ad set, you can edit the ad set’s settings such as the audience, placement, or ads in the ad set. You can’t change the objective or ad format after an ad set has been launched.

To edit ad set details:
1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.
2. Click Advertise on the left menu.
3. Select the correct campaign on the Campaigns tab.
4. On the Ad sets tab, move your cursor over the ad set name and click  Edit.
