LinkedIn group participants can manage member blocking effectively by understanding role-based permissions and their impact on group access.

Group owners can block members, managers, and other owners from the group.

Group managers can block group members, but not owners or managers.

Group members can’t block anyone in the group. However, they can request group owners and managers to block a group member.
When you block a member:

They cannot view the group homepage.
-
They cannot access group content.
-
They cannot interact with group members or participate in discussions.
To block a member:

Click Groups from the left pane of your LinkedIn homepage.

Select the applicable group from Your groups list.

Click Manage group on the top left rail.

From the Members section, locate the member you want to remove.

Click the
More icon next to the member’s name. -
Click Block from group.
Optional: Select the Delete all posts and comments from [member name] checkbox if you want to remove their content. This action can’t be undone and it may take up to 24 hours to delete all posts and comments.

Click Confirm.
You can also block a member directly from a post or comment made by the group member:

Click Groups from the left pane of your LinkedIn homepage.

Select the applicable group from Your groups list.

Click Manage group on the top left rail.

Locate the post or comment made by the group member.

Click the
More icon next to the comment or post. -
Select Block (name) from the group.

In the Block (name) from the group pop-up window, click Block.

Locate the post or comment made by the group member.

Tap Block (name) from the group.
