Promote jobs in the LinkedIn Mobile App for iOS

Last updated: 3 months ago

Promoting jobs allows members to reach a wider audience and attract potential candidates.

LinkedIn members can promote their jobs using the LinkedIn mobile app for iOS. To promote a job, you must make an in-app purchase for job promotion credit, which will be used to promote your job.

Important considerations

  • Credit usage: Your credit will be charged based on the number of views your job post receives. If you close your job before your credit runs out, the remaining credit will remain available to use for promoting another job. Credit purchased in iOS for job promotion doesn’t expire.

  • Refund policy: LinkedIn can’t provide any billing support for Apple App Store purchases. You must contact Apple for payment inquiries and refund requests or review your Apple App Store purchase history.

  • Budget and charges: You’ll need to set a total budget for your job post before purchasing job promotion credit. Your total budget is the maximum amount you want to spend promoting your job. You’ll see a daily average and expected duration for your job depending on the total budget, but you may spend more or less on a given day to meet demand. However, you’ll never pay more than your total budget.

  • IOS billing adjustment: In-app purchases on iOS can only be made in specific amounts (e.g., $10, $30, $50). If the amount you intend to spend doesn’t match these amounts, we'll adjust it to fit Apple's requirements. For example, if you set a $100 budget but have $55 in credit, you'd owe $45. Since $45 isn't an acceptable amount for in-app purchase, we'll adjust your budget to $95 so your payment becomes $40—an accepted amount.

  • Editing your budget: You can edit the budget for jobs promoted on the iOS mobile app directly through the app. However, please note that editing the budget for these jobs on desktop or Android is currently unavailable.
