At LinkedIn, we know that authenticity is key to creating meaningful interactions. The verification badge on a LinkedIn Page helps signal that the Page is an official Page of the organization. Verification helps organizations build credibility with potential customers, and job applications, and helps members engage with the organizations they're looking for. Once a Page is verified, it enables employees of that company to verify their workplace.
Pages that are eligible for verification will see the option to request verification in the Settings page from the desktop experience. Eligibility may be based on meaningful engagement with LinkedIn, such as posting regularly, or responding to members, as well as having an established commercial relationship with LinkedIn. This could include, but is not limited to, using LinkedIn recurring commercial products like Ads, Jobs, or a Premium Company Page subscription.
Meeting these criteria does not guarantee verification. Pages must still complete and pass LinkedIn's review process before being verified. If your Page is not verified after the initial attempt, you may try again.
Multiple factors are taken into consideration to determine if a Page verification can be granted. These factors may include, but are not limited to:
-
Accuracy of certain data points on the Page (example: location, website URL)
-
Active Page admin presence
-
Page is claimed (not a Listing Page)
-
Compliance with LinkedIn policies

As a super admin of a LinkedIn Premium Company Page, you can request verification from the Settings page in your super admin view from the desktop experience.
After you submit a request, the verification process is largely automated, and it is possible that your Page will be automatically verified. In some cases, if the automated verification process doesn't complete or if it fails, you might need to complete the verification process with a few additional steps. If you receive an email that your verification request was not approved, you can raise a case with LinkedIn to receive support for your case.

LinkedIn receives a high volume of verification requests daily. As a result, it could take up to ten days for the verification process to complete. Responses are provided only when your Page is successfully verified, or if the request fails or times out and further action is required from you. So be sure to check your Admin Dashboard regularly to view updates on your verification request for next steps. Once a Page is verified, a verification badge will be displayed on the Page, and you’ll also be notified via email if additional information is required to process your verification request.

To see if your Page is currently verified, go to your Verification controls settings. Verified Pages will show Verified and a verification date. If your organization doesn’t have access to Page verification at this time, you can express interest in the feature from your Page’s Verification controls settings. Joining the waitlist doesn’t guarantee that your Page will be verified.
To access your Verification controls settings:
-
Go to your Page super admin view.
-
Click Settings in the left menu.
-
Click Verification controls. If you don't see the Verification controls setting, your Page may not be eligible at this time.
Requesting verification does not guarantee that your Page will be verified. If your Page is not verified, you will receive an email notification stating that your Page does not meet the criteria for verification. The Verification controls page from Settings in your super admin view will also indicate that your verification attempt failed. From this page, you can submit a support request to have your Page assessed again to complete Page verification.
After submitting a support request, LinkedIn will get in touch with you for additional details to process your support request.

LinkedIn offers verification badges both for Pages and members associated with the Pages:
- Page verification - When your Page is verified, a verification badge will be displayed next to your organization’s name on the Page.
- Verifications for members through email domains - Once a Page is verified, super admins of the Page can enable members to verify their association with the organization using a work email address. LinkedIn members can then verify their workplace or educational association using the email domains approved by that organization. Once verified, the verification will be displayed on the member’s LinkedIn profile in the About this profile section.
To remove the verification badge from your Page, you can contact us.

Page verification isn’t available to all Pages at this time. If you see a Page without a verification badge, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the information on the Page is incorrect or fraudulent. It may simply mean that the Page hasn’t been verified yet by LinkedIn.
However, it’s always a good idea to conduct additional research before engaging with a Page. Some best practices include researching the organization online, visiting their official website, and reviewing their social media profiles.
When you request verification, and your domain and business are confirmed successfully, a verification badge is added on your Page. Verification is a reflection of trust and authenticity, and LinkedIn reserves the right to revoke badges if potential misuse or abuse is detected.
If patterns of abuse are noticed on your Page, such as suspicious activity associated with the domain, we reserve the right to revoke your verification badge.
Yes. If your free version or trial version of the Premium Company Page was verified in the past and received a verification badge, your Page will retain the badge.
Moving forward, verification is not available for free or trial versions of Premium Company Page. Purchasing a Premium Company Page will automatically make your Page eligible for verification.
