Get reviews for your LinkedIn services

Last updated: 9 months ago

To showcase your level of service to potential new clients, you can ask clients to review your services on LinkedIn. You can request reviews for your services in two ways: sending review invitations and marking projects as complete.

  • Send review invitations - You can invite up to 20 past clients to write a review about your level of service.

  • Complete a project - When you mark a project as complete, clients are automatically prompted to write a review without using one of your 20 invitation credits.

Important to know

You can't request reviews for services offered on your Company Page.

Reviews are visible to anyone when turned on, and can be turned on or off at any time. With a Premium Business subscription, your ratings and your most recent four or five star review will appear in your Services Showcase on your profile to highlight your past positive feedback.

To invite clients to review your service:

  1. Access your LinkedIn Service Page admin view.

  2. Scroll down to the Reviews section and click the Invite to review button.

  3. Select a service category.

  4. Click the Next button.

  5. Select the checkbox next to the relevant past client(s).

  6. Click the Invite button.

After a client writes a review, both you and the client can share the review on LinkedIn and mention each other. The service provider can’t edit or remove a review after it’s published. The client can edit the review, but not the star rating. Review invitations expire after six months.
