The LinkedIn Events feature is designed to make it easier for members to grow their networks and build authentic, face-to-face relationships with other LinkedIn members who share common interests.

You can use the LinkedIn Events feature to create an event and invite attendees, or to accept an invite to join an event.
When you create an event, you become the event’s host and organizer. Once you’ve created an event, you can manage the event details and even delete the event.
You can only invite your 1st-degree connections to attend your event. Both organizers and attendees can send up to 1000 invitations per week. If you are organize multiple events, this limit applies across events and does not increase.
Any invitee can invite their 1st-degree connections to the Event. However, you can withdraw invitations made by your attendees or remove attendees in the Manage Attendees section.
If you’re invited to an event, you’ll receive your invite via a notification, email, or an alert. You can view your pending invites from the My Network tab.
To view events that you’ve joined:

From your Desktop, navigate to the LinkedIn homepage where you’ll see events you’ve joined under Events on the left rail.

From your mobile device, tap on your profile picture and then tap on Events.
After accepting an event invitation, you can decide to leave the event at any time. The organizer will not be proactively notified.
We recommend that you include your event’s link to an external ticketing site in the “External URL” field. Make sure to note that in the event description so your invitees are aware.
Yes. If you’re a LinkedIn Page super admin, you can choose for your Page to be the organizer of an event when you’re creating it. Check out these FAQs about events organized by Pages.
The Event type (Online or In person) and the Event format (LinkedIn Live or External event link) cannot be changed after the event has been posted.
