You can use inbox categories and filters to quickly find conversations in LinkedIn Messaging. You can also search for messages by keyword or recipient in the
To filter your messages from the messaging page:

Click the
Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click the inbox category dropdown and choose a category: Focused, Other, Archived, or Spam.

Choose any of the following filters to refine results:
- Jobs: Conversations related to job opportunities
- Unread: Messages you haven’t opened
- My Connections: Messages from your 1st-degree connections
- Starred: Messages you’ve marked important
- InMail: Messages from people who aren’t your direct connections
To filter your messages from Messaging conversation window:

Click on the messaging conversation window at the lower-right corner of your LinkedIn homepage.

Click Focused or Other tab.

Click the
Filter icon in the Search messages bar. -
Choose any of the filters mentioned above, or additional options: Archived or Spam.

Tap the
Messaging icon in the upper right. -
Tap the inbox category dropdown and choose a category: Focused, Other, Archived, Spam.

Tap on any of the following filters, or swipe right on them and tap All filters to see the full list:
- Jobs: Conversations related to job opportunities
- Drafts: Messages you started but haven’t sent yet
- Unread: Messages you haven’t opened
- Starred: Messages you’ve marked important
- InMail: Messages from people who aren’t your direct connections
- My Connections: Messages from your 1st-degree connections
