Add your tax registration or VAT number to your billing information

If you have purchased your subscription online, you can enter your tax registration, value added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or other similar transaction number either from the payments page or the Tax information page in LinkedIn Admin Center.

  • If you need to update your information for an Ads account, you’ll use Campaign Manager.
  • If you purchased your services through our sales team, contact our Billing Support team to update the information.
  • If you used PayPal to purchase your services, contact us to update the information.

To add your VAT number in the payment page:

  1. Select the checkbox next to I'm purchasing as a business.

    Note: This checkbox appears only for VAT eligible countries.

  2. Enter your value added tax number in the VAT textbox that appears and click Add

    • After the VAT number is verified, the tax ID is added to your order, and the Order summary section is updated with the total amount to be paid.
  3. Click Place order. An email is sent with the attached receipt, which has the VAT number printed on it.

Notes:

  • To remove the VAT number before placing your order, click  or the VAT number itself and the Order summary will again get updated.
  • To remove, use, or add a different Tax ID after completing your purchase, go to the LinkedIn Admin Center to manage the tax registration information.
